πΌ About the Role
As an Email Developer, youβll play a key role in crafting dynamic, personalized, and responsive emails that resonate with customers and drive retention. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Lifecycle & CRM, youβll collaborate closely with retention and digital teams to ensure high-quality email communications are delivered on time and at scale.
This is a Level 2 (L2) role in the Retention/DTC job family, perfect for someone with hands-on experience in HTML, CSS, and modern email development tools.
β¨ What You’ll Do
- Build and code responsive, dynamic email templates using HTML, CSS, and Handlebars
- Utilize template generators to design visually appealing emails
- Coordinate with the Retention Team for efficient campaign execution
- Set up A/B testing for content variations like subject lines, preheaders, and messaging
- Manage and segment the email database, including list creation and maintenance
- Partner with Engineering & QA to ensure transactional emails are both personalized and functional
- Contribute independently while working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

- 4+ years of email development experience (Iterable preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
- Proficiency with Excel and comfort working with analytics tools (like Omni)
- A collaborative mindset and team-oriented approach
- Natural curiosity with a drive to learn and grow continuously

- Experience in e-commerce/D2C environments
- Background in high-growth startups
