The Transportation Operation Center plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of Amazon transportation across multiple geographies. As a Transportation Representative, you will be responsible for facilitating the flow of information between different stakeholders and resolving any potential issues that impact customer experience and business continuity.
Responsibilities
As a Trans Ops Specialist, you will be responsible for communication with external and internal customers, pulling data from databases, developing performance metrics, scoping out business and functional requirements for technology teams, and more. You will need to have good communication skills, proficiency in Advanced Excel, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment. Additionally, you must be able to quickly understand business trends and make decisions based on available data.
Basic Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree
– 10-24 months of work experience
– Good communication skills
– Proficiency in Advanced Excel
– Demonstrated ability to work in a team
Preferred Qualifications
– Logistics background and lean/six sigma training
– Proficient in SQL
