About the Role

The Team Lead, Billing & Posting Resolution is responsible for providing strategic alignment and daily oversight of process-based revenue cycle functions. You will work to improve key revenue cycle indicators such as A/R days, cash collection goals, denials, and contract management activities. Additionally, you will mentor and provide operational oversight for the Billing Coordinator, ensuring accurate and timely billing processes.

Minimum Requirements

– High school graduate or GED equivalent

– 5 years previous hospital billing experience

– Working knowledge of insurance regulations, procedure and diagnosis coding, and automated insurance billing

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

– Strong critical thinking, organizational, and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

– Associates or Bachelor’s Degree

– Surgical hospital billing experience

– 2 years Medicare hospital billing experience
