Amazon’s IT Services Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support service to Amazon Corporate employees worldwide. This role involves fielding incoming support chats, calls, and online requests, diagnosing and troubleshooting end user computing problems, and ensuring timely and accurate resolution of technical issues.

Responsibilities

The successful IT Support Specialist will be customer-focused, motivated by team success, and able to adapt to new processes quickly. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive technical support, researching and resolving inquiries, creating detailed call logs, and maintaining current knowledge of support policies. This role also involves assisting with system or network outage triage and escalation to reduce downtime.

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of corporate setting Windows, Mac, or Linux Operating systems support experience
• Experience troubleshooting integrated computer systems
• Experience maintaining zebra thermal printers, thin clients, PCs, scanners, and handheld terminals

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 1+ years of help-desk or desk-side support environment experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10, Mac OS X, and Linux
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Commitment to quality and strong multitasking skills
