DataForce by TransPerfect is seeking a Linguist with idiomatic fluency in French to join our team in France, working remotely on data curation and evaluation.
Role Summary
As a Linguist, you will curate and evaluate linguistic data, review outputs from speech models, and execute scripts for task automation. You will also provide feedback based on data analysis.
Role Responsibilities
- Curate and evaluate linguistic data with accuracy and attention to detail
- Review and assess outputs generated by speech models
- Execute scripts via command line for task automation or data handling (running, not developing)
- Provide feedback and draw conclusions based on the analyzed data
- Collaborate with the team to continuously improve data quality and task processes
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Linguistics
- Formal education or certification in Linguistics
- Strong understanding of core linguistic concepts
- Previous experience in similar tasks is a plus
- Idiomatic fluency in French and advanced fluency in English
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in an additional language such as Italian or Spanish is a plus
