Slalom Austin is looking for an experienced, collaborative and curious Data Engineer who will work closely with Austin clients to deliver on their transformative data & analytics modernization efforts. We’re excited to provide the opportunity to solve complex & cutting edge technology problems across diverse industries here in Austin!
What You’ll Bring
- Significant hands-on experience in cloud data warehousing or ETL experience designing and developing enterprise data workflows
- Comfortable with SQL and ETL integration, and have some experience writing python, shell scripts or java
- Hands-on experience in Cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and Snowflake
- Prior consulting experience preferred
- Intellectual curiosity with regard to business process as well as technology tools, platforms and languages
- Comfortable with ambiguity & adaptable given the needs of the project
- Fast learner who can connect seemingly disparate ideas and help others create those same connections
- Comfortable solving highly critical problems for some of the most recognized organizations in the world
- Familiar with agile methodologies and enterprise development frameworks with experience in applying it in a real-world, team setting
Technology Focus
Depending on the project, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a broad variety of tools and technologies. Experience in 3-4 of the following technology areas is important in this role:
