Job Title: Case Manager (MLOA)

Description:

This is a contractual role for 12 months at Amazon, where every day is still day one. The Disability & Leave Services team is looking for a talented individual to provide case management for various leave of absence and disability life events. As a Case Manager, you will be the single point of contact for employees throughout their leave event, ensuring a connected and trusted experience.

Essential Responsibilities:

– Initiate and respond to inquiries about leave and disability events
– Provide holistic case management services
– Review medical documentation and adjudicate leaves in compliance with laws and benefit plans
– Adjust case management plans to changing employee needs
– Troubleshoot issues and remove barriers before, during, or after a leave event
– Facilitate smooth return to work plans for employees
– Communicate updates to employees and stakeholders
– Ensure compliance with regulations and company policy
– Partner with various departments as needed

Basic Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or related field OR High school diploma/equivalent
– 2+ years of experience in customer service, HR, case management, or leave & disability management
– Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications:

– Knowledge of US legislation related to leave of absence, disability, and accommodations
– Ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills
– Strong relationship-building and communication skills
– Experience in leave of absence and disability claim management
– Ability to work independently with changing priorities
