Project Overview
Join the CrowdGen team as an Independent Contractor for Project Oak! This project focuses on producing accurate and high-quality transcripts from audio recordings in Kannada. Your role will involve listening carefully to recordings and converting spoken language into clear, properly formatted written text. By participating in this project, you will be supporting the development of advanced AI systems by providing precise reference data for speech recognition models.
Responsibilities
- Listen to audio recordings and accurately transcribe all spoken content in Kannada
- Include speaker labels, timestamps, and other formatting as required
- Ensure proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Follow project-specific transcription guidelines and style rules
Requirements
- Native fluency in Kannada
- Minimum of 10 hours of availability per week
- Strong command of the language used in the audio and fluency in English for following instructions
- Excellent listening skills and attention to detail
- Experience with transcription tools or platforms is preferred
Payment Details
Payment for this role is based on a rate of $24.00 per audio hour. On average, contributors can transcribe 5 minutes of audio per working hour, which equals $2.00/hour. Actual earnings will depend on your speed and accuracy in transcribing the audio content.
