Job Description
Are you fluent in Italian and have a passion for language technologies? DataForce by TransPerfect is looking for linguists with idiomatic fluency in Italian (Italy) to join our team of Freelance Linguists. This is a remote opportunity with flexible hours and the chance to work on an innovative project until December 2025.
Role Summary
As a Linguist/Speech Data Verifier, you will be crucial in enhancing AI-driven speech recognition and generation assistants. You will listen to short Italian audio recordings, review, correct, and refine pre-annotated descriptions to improve voice characteristics and speech delivery.
Job Requirements
- Idiomatic fluency in Italian (Italy)
- Pass a qualification test
- Located in Italy
- Excellent listening, writing, and spelling skills in Italian
- Degree in linguistics or related field
- Experience in data analysis, labelling, or speech technology
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Interest in language technologies
