Job Description

As an AI-Focused Founding Engineer at Persona, you will be responsible for architecting and building scalable backend services and AI pipelines. You will work with cutting-edge technologies like LLMs, NLP, and TTS/STT models to drive real-world solutions. Your role will also involve leading infrastructure and deployment on AWS, managing CI/CD pipelines, ensuring security and compliance, and designing scalable solutions.

Skills Required

– Expertise in Python, NLP, and API design
– Proficiency with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS/ECR, VPC, Cognito, and CloudWatch
– Strong database experience with PostgreSQL
– Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like CDK and Terraform
– Familiarity with Docker, ECR/ECS, or Kubernetes

Qualifications

– 5-10 years of relevant experience
– PhD or Master’s in AI or Computer Science (a plus)
– Research publications in AI, ML, or NLP (a plus)
– Full-stack development experience with Next.js/React and TypeScript (a plus)
– Understanding of data privacy and PII-scrubbing techniques
