Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Front-End Software Engineer to join our fast-moving, early-stage fintech startup building a first-of-its-kind litigation finance marketplace. You’ll be joining a talented team of five developers who launched our platform in April 2023 and continue to evolve it rapidly.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an autonomous environment, communicates clearly, and takes ownership of large parts of a shared codebase and production system.

What You’ll Do

– Design, develop, and maintain front-end features across multiple portals within our marketplace.
– Operate independently in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Vercel, ensuring security, performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
– Collaborate closely with a distributed engineering team to deliver high-quality, reliable software.
– Contribute to architectural decisions and help evolve our tech stack.

Our Stack

Frontend: ReactJS, TailwindUI, ShadCN, HTML/CSS, JavaScript
Backend / Infrastructure: AWS serverless (Lambdas in TypeScript), DynamoDB, AppSync/GraphQL, Kinesis, OpenSearch, Cognito, Snowflake
Deployment / Hosting: Vercel

Who You Are

– Highly self-directed with strong ownership and accountability.
– Excellent communicator who collaborates effectively in a fully remote team.
– Experienced in front-end engineering, with a solid understanding of AWS-based systems and modern web development practices.
– Comfortable designing and executing complex software projects independently.

Location & Collaboration

Our team is fully remote, with members distributed across time zones close to U.S. Eastern Time (within ±2 hours). We collaborate via video calls, chat, GitHub, Vercel, Linear, v0, and Figma.

We prefer candidates based in the Central or Eastern parts of the Americas to maximize collaboration overlap.
