Job Description
We are looking for a PMP-Certified IT Project Manager to join our team at North Star Strategies. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the execution of internal IT initiatives for our client. Your main tasks will include managing project delivery, vendor relationships, facilitating meetings, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders at all levels.
Responsibilities
– Manage execution and delivery of multiple IT projects across various business units
– Facilitate effective meetings, drive follow-ups, and ensure alignment across teams
– Manage vendor relationships, including performance, coordination, and accountability
– Deliver high-quality status reports tailored for executive audiences
– Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders
– Ensure all projects are on track, escalating issues and clarifying uncertainties when needed
– Document project artifacts and track key milestones
Requirements
– PMP certification with 4+ years managing IT projects
– Strong vendor management experience
– Proven meeting facilitation and status reporting skills
– Excellent written and verbal communication
– Experience with IT security projects is a plus
– Must be able to work full days in the CST or EST time zone
