About the Role

As a Money Writer, you will be responsible for creating articles on various personal finance topics that cater to WSJ subscribers. You will collaborate with editorial and commerce teams to plan future article lineups, ensuring relevancy for the WSJ audience. The role also involves understanding the WSJ.com audience and writing clear, polished prose that balances sensitivity with expertise.

What You Will Do

• Write articles on personal finance topics relevant to WSJ subscribers
• Collaborate with editorial and commerce teams on future article lineups
• Understand the WSJ.com audience to serve their needs effectively
• Work proactively with partners to provide useful service to readers
• Ensure accuracy and journalistic standards for all content

What You Have

• 3+ years of reporting experience
• Fluency in consumer finance and economics
• A track record of writing engaging financial stories
• Familiarity with affiliate revenue operations and search engine optimization is preferred
