Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Record to Report (R2R) Specialist to join our finance team in Dublin. The successful candidate will be supporting the month-end close process, preparing account reconciliations, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with internal policies and accounting standards.
This position requires excellent communication skills, proficiency in English, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. Experience with SOX compliance and Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (GP) is highly valuable.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prepare journal entries including accruals, prepayments, and other general ledger transactions.
- Perform balance sheet and P&L account reconciliations, including bank and intercompany reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with SOX requirements by maintaining internal controls over financial reporting.
- Participate in internal and external audits by preparing requested documentation and analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Record to Report or general accounting role.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Ability to analyze and present data clearly using Excel.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (GP) is highly valuable.
