Job description
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies for a new travel startup
- Create engaging content across multiple social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Reddit, LinkedIn)
- Build and grow a vibrant online community of travel enthusiasts, travel pros and travel shoppers
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to align social media efforts with brand messaging
- Track and analyze social media performance and engagement metrics
Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality, visually appealing content including photos, videos, and graphics
- Manage daily social media posting schedules
- Respond to comments, messages, and engage with followers
- Research and implement emerging social media trends and platforms
- Monitor and report on social media KPIs and audience growth
- Develop creative campaigns to increase brand awareness and user engagement
- Coordinate with influencers and travel content creators for potential partnerships
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in social media management, preferably in travel or lifestyle sectors
- Proven track record of growing social media audiences
- Excellent photography and video editing skills
- Strong understanding of social media analytics and performance tracking
- Creativity and ability to create compelling, shareable content
- Proficiency in social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
- Passionate about travel
