Job Summary:
Pyyne Digital is looking for a WordPress Developer with strong PHP skills to work on a project for a US-based client. The successful candidate will be responsible for migrating and modernizing the client’s WordPress site, collaborating with agency partners, and ensuring the site’s performance and security.
Responsibilities:
– Migrate the legacy WordPress site to a modern Gutenberg block-based experience
– Serve as the technical lead on backend WordPress matters
– Support, manage, and secure the production WordPress environment
– Build and deploy new sections and improve performance
– Implement and configure editor-friendly plugins
– Integrate Zendesk Live Chat and build tools for support data extraction
– Set up MixPanel event tracking and instrument Gravity Forms appropriately
Requirements:
– Fluent in English, written and spoken
– Strong backend development experience with WordPress and PHP
– Experience optimizing WordPress performance and security
– Familiarity with third-party integrations and event tracking tools
– Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with agency partners
