Job Responsibilities

As a virtual receptionist at Smith.ai, you will have the opportunity to work 100% remote and handle calls for a variety of different businesses and professionals. Your responsibilities will include answering calls, taking messages, screening new clients, booking appointments, collecting payments, and transferring calls. You will also need to understand callers’ needs and provide accurate business information.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have strong typing and multitasking skills, access to high-speed internet, and the ability to work flexible hours in a quiet setting remotely. You should also be a professional and confident communicator with clients, a proficient computer user, and fluent in English. We are looking for “all-star” agents who are experienced communicators, ethical decision-makers, and responsive to change.

Requirements

Before applying, please ensure you have authorization to work in the United States (if U.S.-based), a personal computer with Google Chrome browser, reliable internet connection, strong typing skills, and a quiet environment for answering calls. Our scheduling offers flexibility with predictable hours to maintain a positive work/life balance.

Pay and Benefits

For U.S.-based agents, we offer a starting rate of $15/hour with healthcare benefits available for agents working 30+ hours weekly. For bilingual agents who speak fluent English and Spanish, the starting rate is $16/hour. Additional benefits include paid training, employee referral bonuses, and many more team award-earning opportunities.
